Major was founded by Eyup S. Iblag in 1991. Since then many "first ever" concerts were done including but not limited to DEEP PURPLE, PAGE & PLANT, JETHRO TULL, SLAYER, ALAN PARSONS LIVE PROJECT, THERAPY?, BEN HARPER, COLOSSEUM, JOSE FELICIANO, IAN GILLAN, THE CARL PALMER BAND, RITCHIE BLACKMORE'S NIGHT, MACY GRAY, OVERKILL, IN FLAMES, SPYRO GYRA, NANCY SINATRA, VIKTORIA TOLSTOY and many others...
Also Major is one of the most experienced festival promoters in Turkey for 17 years. The Company has (been):
1) doing International Eskisehir Festival's (www.eskfest.org) organisation without any interruption since its start up in 1995.
2) done the best rock festival 1st Istanbul Rock Republic Festival (1, 2, 3 July 2005) with camping facilities (www.rockrepublic.org) featuring 25 bands including Slayer, Overkill, Doro, In Flames, Sick of It All and others with 10.000 audience (both local and international).
3) done Int’l Yapi Kredi Festival in 2 consecutive years in 1994 and 1995.
4) done Int’l Bosphorus Festival at Open Air Theatre of 4000 seats in Istanbul between 1997 and 2000.
5) done hundreds of jazz, blues, tango, dance, flamenco events at CRR Concert Hall between 1993 and 2005.
